The life of a motoring journalist has become that bit more challenging in these Covid-19 times as manufacturers make fewer cars and deal with the transition from combustion engine to all electric.
What better time then than to explore the wonderful world of Meccano and engineering?
It does take time and patience to build a Meccano car and my children and I successfully build a model. There is only one model, the sportscar, that utilises the electric motor so we plan to build that next.
